Gluten & Dairy-Free Shagbark Hickory Waffles
6 Tablespoons of Shagbark Hickory Syrup
2 cups of oatmilk
4 large eggs
6 tablespoons melted butter, cooled
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 2/3 cups of oat flour
1 cup cornmeal
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Heat waffle iron
Mix wet ingredients in one bowl
Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl
Add wet ingredients to dry, whisk to combine
Scoop 2/3 cups of batter into waffle iron and cook 3-5 minutes (time varies with iron)
We love a little butter and some more Shagbark Hickory Syrup on our waffles.
